Olivia Miles surprised everyone when she opted out of the 2025 WNBA draft. However, despite most critics ringing in the negative narrative, Miles knew exactly what she was doing. Upon joining TCU, the youngster took the college scene by storm.
Looking at the 23-year-old’s incredible surge, the Minnesota Lynx picked her up as the number two overall. Immediately, the front office knew that they had landed a great athlete. Now, as the 30th WNBA season is underway, the 23-year-old is impressing with her on-court moves.

Olivia Miles Shows Early Signs Of Success
Till now, the Minnesota Lynx have only played three games. While it is too early to comment, the former TCU star is putting up some really impressive showings. According to a report from Alexa Phillippou, Miles has so far dropped a combined 21 assists to kick off the season. This makes her tied at the fourth position in the list of most assists by a rookie player in the first three career games.
And that’s not all. The Lynx newcomer is now only the 5th in WNBA history to drop averages of 15 PPG and 5 APG in their first three games. Other names on the list are Caitlin Clark, Sue Bird, Candace Parker, and Nikki McCray.
