WNBA Draftees Open Up On Their Dream Brand Collaborations
Women’s sport is not about the game right now, as many brands are not investing heavily in female athletes. JuJu Watkin also opened up on the female athletes getting more NIL opportunities than their counterparts, mentioning that they have an upper hand in the deals. She also became the first college star to sign with LeBron James’ Nike signature shoe, proving her point.
Now with the professional career on the doorstep, many WNBA draftees also opened up on their dream collaborations as Raven Johnson called for ‘Victoria’s Secret’ while Olivia Miles chose NBA2K as her preferred brand.

Multiple player chose multiple brands, showing their interest in different avenues too. But one thing that would still matter and could impact their brand association is their possible draft selection.
Top Five WNBA Draft Picks
Different WNBA mock drafts highlighted a number of options for the 15 teams. The 45 selections in the WNBA draft would take place on April 13, and the most probable top five picks, not in the same order, would be Awa Fam, Olivia Miles, Kiki Rice, Azzi Fudd, and Lauren Betts.
Despite recent tournament slumps, Fudd remains one of the premier shooters in women’s basketball and will be a top-five pick for teams seeking perimeter scoring. At the same time, the 6-foot-7 center and national champion, Betts, is considered the class’s best rim protector and has seen her stock rise significantly following her Most Outstanding Player performance in the NCAA tournament.
The point guard for the national champion Bruins, Rice has defensive versatility and facilitation skills, making her a strong candidate for a possible top 5 pick, while Miles averaged 19.6 points and recorded six triple-doubles this past season, making her a top pick candidate too.
The 19-year-old 6-foot-4 Spanish international, Awa Fam, has professional experience in Spain’s LF Endesa. She could be a top-three selection due to her elite size and athleticism.
